Bachelor of Architecture
Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance Studies Roger Williams University, 2004
Jessie grew up in Maine and graduated from Roger Williams University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance Studies. As the daughter of a general contractor, she developed an early curiosity about the built environment and a strong interest in how things are constructed.
Her career path reflects this multidisciplinary background. Jessie began at an owner’s project management firm before transitioning to a Boston-based architecture firm specializing in performing arts and entertainment design—an ideal intersection of her two fields of study. Starting as an architectural model maker, she quickly advanced into roles in design production and project management, ultimately becoming a Senior Associate and member of the firm’s leadership team.
After 12 years in architecture, Jessie stepped away from the industry to pursue other interests while continuing to engage with the design industry as an independent contractor. She supported a range of design firms and construction companies and completed several single-family residential design projects.
Now a member of the WLA team, Jessie is excited to contribute to the firm’s continued growth and strategic vision. Outside of work, she is a small business owner and can be found treating clients with orthopedic injuries, training for the next crazy athletic pursuit, getting her hands dirty with a home renovation projects, and spending time with family in Maine.
