Kelley DesRoches

Vice President

Registered Architect, LEED AP

Bachelor of Architecture,
Roger Williams University, 2003

Kelley found a passion for architecture at a young age, drawing floor plans as a pastime and eventually finding herself in architectural drawing classes in high school. She continued this passion studying at Roger Williams University, earning her Bachelor of Architecture in 2003. Prior to joining the WLA team, she developed her skills at other local firms in addition to working abroad in Nottingham, England. Kelley has experience in multiple building types and a passion for interiors. There are so many aspects of architecture that appeal to her; the uniqueness of every project, working closely with clients and consultants to make a concept become a reality, and the problem solving throughout the process.

Outside of the office, Kelley can be found exploring the Vermont landscape - camping, hiking, paddling or skiing with her family. She also has a passion for travel which was fueled during stuyding abroad in the Czech Republic and Austria. Continuing this passion for travel, she jumped at the opportunity to direct the geological & feature surveying and documentation for the Princeton University Cyprus Archaeological Expedition in Polis Chrysochous, Cyprus throughout the summers of 2001 through 2010. Drawings from the dig are published in the book City of Gold: The Archaeology of Polis, Chrysochous, Cyprus by Dr. William Childs.
